HOW TO TAKE CARE OF OUR PIECES
Our pieces are handcrafted, designed, and made in Europe, Portugal. To maintain the beauty and elasticity of each item, it’s essential to follow a few simple care tips.
Here, we share some advice to help keep your pieces in perfect condition, ready for many special moments:
- Always hand wash in cold water to protect the fabric and preserve the colors. Avoid tumble drying, ironing, bleaching, or dry cleaning, as these processes can damage the garment.
- Wash dark colors separately to prevent color transfer. After washing, gently reshape the piece while damp and lay it flat to dry.
- Avoid contact with sunscreens, oils, and rough surfaces, which may stain or damage the fabric.
- Please note: when damp or wet, this garment may transfer dye onto light-colored fabrics, upholstery, or handbags.
- Keep away from fire.
With just a little extra care, your pieces will continue to accompany you through your best moments, season after season.
This item should be washed by hand only, using cold water and a gentle detergent.
- Submerge the piece in water and let it soak for about 5 minutes. Gently move it through the water without twisting or scrubbing to avoid stretching or misshaping the fabric.
- To remove excess water, lift the piece carefully with both hands and press lightly. Then, place it on an absorbent towel, roll it up, and press gently to absorb moisture.
- Always lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight, to maintain the shape, especially for crochet or delicate knit items.
Important: As this is a delicate item, we recommend removing any jewellery when dressing or undressing to prevent snags or damage.
Please note: Each piece is entirely handcrafted, making every item one of a kind. Just like in nature, no two are ever truly identical. Slight variations are a natural part of the handmade process and reflect the care and individuality behind each creation.
To keep the pearls looking their best, avoid contact with salt water, as well as direct exposure to perfume, lotions, or sunscreen.
The pearls are carefully applied one by one, so they deserve a little extra care. With just a few simple precautions, your swimwear will stay just as beautiful as the day you got it.
